Making the visit work
Our team uses child-appropriate equipment and explains procedures in language children understand. The first visit is often just a ride in the chair and a count of the teeth, because a child who is not frightened of the dentist at five is a patient who looks after their teeth at thirty.
For children who are genuinely distressed, happy gas is available at our Albany clinic for under-13s.
The Child Dental Benefits Schedule
Many families are eligible for the Child Dental Benefits Schedule, which covers a capped amount of basic dental services for eligible children. Ask us when you book and we will check the balance for you.
