Dentist
Dr Rachael Wu
Going to the dentist can be nerve-racking for some patients, so Rachael works to understand each patient's needs and create a safe, calm environment. She enjoys giving back to the community through multiple charities and organisations, including volunteering as a dentist on Rescue Day and as lead dental assistant and recruit officer at the Tzu Chi International Medical Association.
At TIMA she helped secure the ADHF Healthier Smiles Community Service Grant, which was used to design and run oral health education programs, empower patients to maintain good oral hygiene and help fund dental treatment for disadvantaged patients.
Rachael likes all aspects of dentistry, with a special interest in prosthodontics, oral surgery and aesthetic dentistry. She is a member of the Australian Dental Association and regularly attends CPD courses to stay current with the latest research. In her spare time she likes swimming, scuba diving, running, baking, learning languages and trying new food.
